Pattern Fee:  $5.00

This 64" square quilt is made from one jelly roll and 1 1/8 yard of a contrasting fabric.  Add an outer border and you're done.  The only requirement is the ability to sew an accurate 1/4" seam.

Fabric Requirements:
1 Jelly Roll or 36 - 2 1/2" strips
1 1/8 yard contrast/accent fabric
1 1/4 yard outer border
5/8 yard binding
4 yard backing

Scrappy Apples

What is it about apples that feels so homey?  Caramel apples, apple cider, apple fritters, apple pie.  Maybe it's all the treats we make with them.  God old fashioned comfort food!  Make your own comfy lap quilt covered in delicious apples.  49 different 5" squares become simple snowball blocks.  Part of the fun is collecting all the different prints.  Simple fusible applique creates the stem and leaves.  Even the backgrounds and sashing are scrappy.  My, this quilt is sure to become "the Apple of your Eye!"
