1 - Summer Slices

Enjoy a day making watermelon blocks with a colorful snowball block center.  We will start the class by making our own watermelon seed buttons!

Fabric Requirements:

3 1/4 yards of white background

1/4 yard EACH of 7-8 different reds

1/4 yard EACH of 6 greens

5/8 yard of red for binding

3 3/4 yard backing

10 yards of green ric rac

2 - Let's Get Wonky!

Using QuiltSmart interfacing, you will make a super-sized (10" square bottom x 17" high) bag, perfect for carrying a quilt or sewing supplies.

2 printed fusible interfacing panels
15 - 2 1/2" strips OR 1 jelly roll
1 1/4 yard Bag & Handle lining
1 1/4 yard fusible fleece

Join the fun as we compete to see who can finish first!!!  Our fastest time so far is 56 minutes!  Lots of fun and of course there will be prizes!  The quilt finishes at approximately 55" x 64" with out borders and approximately 71" x 80" with borders.

Fabric Requirements:

1 Jelly Roll or 42 - 2 1/2" strips
1/4 yard coordinating fabrics for setting squares
5/8 yard inner border (optional)
1 1/2 yards outer border (optional)
3/4 yard binding

6 - Bewitching Exchange!

Join us as we exchange blocks with other "witches" to make a bewitching friendship quilt!  Blocks are made ahead of time, so you can put it all together in class!

Fabric Requirements:

Starter Kit - This will include a few fabrics to give you an idea of colors, but you will need to supplement with fabrics and embellishments of your own.

7 - Twister Bag

Using the small Twister Tool, create a great purse with Lynette's original pattern.  Some pre-class sewing is required.

1/8 yard bag binding
1/3 yard handles (if you don't want to use charms)
4 large buttons (handles)
4 1/2" buttons (inside of handles)
