Size:  13 1/2" block

Once you learn the block, you make as many as you want.  The blades are cut from 3" x 5" scraps and you can have 16 or 20 per block.  I'll give you both options.

Fabric Requirements:

Background:  You can get 3 squares from 3/8 yard  If you want to make 20 blocks, you'll need 3 1/2 yards.  (Blocks & inner border.)

Accent fabric (mine is teal) - 2/3 yard

Centers - 1/3 yard

Blades - 3" x 5" rectangles of assorted scraps  (16 or 20 per block)

Learn wool applique on this pretty little project.  It's impressive and functional!  Complete kits will be available in Red, Teal or Pink.  Kit will include pattern, threads & needles.  Several basic and deocorative stitches will be taught.

Create the illusion of curves using the Curvy Log Cabin Tool.  Blocks will turn out perfect every time and go together quickly!

Fabric Requirements:
10 fat quarters medium/dark
10 fat quarters lights
1 3/4 yard border
1/2 yard binding

Cutting Requirements:
Lights - Cut a total of 20 - 1 3/4" squares
Med/Dark - Cut a total of 16 - 1 3/4" squares

From EACH Light FQ & EACH med/dark FQ Cut:
(5) 1 1/2" x width of FQ - approximately 22"
(4) 2 1/4" x width of FQ - approximately 22"

Border - cut 4 - 6 1/2" length of fabric strips

Seriously!  There is absolutely NO cutting to make the blocks!  Grab a layer cake & a charm pack and watch how fast the quilt goes together!

3/4 yard Binding

If you're not doing the borders, you only need 1/2 yard binding.

3" Creative Curves Ruler:  $21.25  Required

You will learn to stitch curved seams with no pinning!  This striking wall hanging is made with just two fabrics with strong contrast.  You can also "scrappy" your lights & darks.

Fabric Requirements:
2 yards EACH of a light and a dark.  Can be scrappy, just make sure it totals at least two yards of each color.  Needs strong contrast between the light & dark.
